Here's smallworldfilm's bread
http://www.cookingfordads.net/joansappleciderbread.jpg

This is a fun bread to make in the fall when all the apples are coming in. It mixes both the sweet and the savory.
Try it and take a pic and send it to me if you get the chance.

  • Where on earth did you come up with something like 44 seconds? =X

  • @Ploofafa years and years of extremely tedious research and development. :-)

  • Rob - why not just spread all the dough on the parchment paper and then cut it into pieces after it's baked, it would be less messy, and if you wet your hands it wouldn't stick as much.

  • @JOHNINCOLUMBUS Because the edges are so yummy. You can do it that way, but the edges are crunchy and delicious, so I wanted as much edge as possible. Good question though. Make it and let me know what you think.

  • @Hoenemeyergirl or wet your hand, when i make cinnamon rolls i put butter on my hands, but i like the extra flavor it brings.

  • YAY Yeast Farts ......

  • i think you should have floured your hands...sticky!

  • That makes sense, didn't think about the edges, but I would separate the gooey dough with a wet knife on Silpat, that's just me, I use disposable gloves a lot when making messy dishes, especially when handling meatloaf or any raw meats before cooking.

I do like your videos, keep up the good work.

  • @cookingfordads

Thank you! Only problem is that the bread didn't survive the night. My son inhaled it. I put some away for friends, who really liked it also.

  • @SmallWorldFilms so awesome. thanks for the pic, I linked it in the description
