@OldCavLT The idea that the damage to our economy is the result of the last two years shows you have no understanding of economic cycles, politics, or law. The Right's outlandish claims and disregard for facts, science, and critical thinking is a substantial part of the problem; it's almost impossible to have a substantive discussion when half the population can't or won't learn and understand the issues and instead relies on sound bites, talking points, and propaganda from moneyed interests.

Free-Market Capitalism is dead and has been replaced by Crony Capitalism and Corporate Communism. I almost envy the elderly generation because atleast they had a decent chance to succeed. The entire system has been corrupted and soiled and bought by a handful of wealthy elite and they are out to destroy the U.S. to own it all.

@Turtleproof Reaganomics and corporatism are perfect examples of what "the Right" means in a political context. The Republicans went to the far fringe of the right and the Democrats went with them. So, yes, as it always has been, the right *is* very much the enemy of the people.

People are in deep trouble in the US. Even looking over the comments to this video, I see far too many pro-corporate toads. All we need in this country to turn things around is a pro-UNION government that outlaws lobbyists and gets corporate money out of politics. That would fix so much of our woes, but the government is in the hands of big business, and there's so much money flowing back to government that we will never control our government again.

There is an element in truth in this video, but it is soooo distorted that no one would take it seriously. You need to stick to the facts. BTW, the 99% needs to stop buying foreign cars and cheap Chinese crap at Walmart. The 99% share some of the blame. You CANNOT consume more than you produce forever so things will only get worse until the jobs come home. They won't until you have a pro-business and pro-jobs environment.

@sega18 A lot of the highest government officials are also the influential members of business you are talking about because they are able to use their wealth to get into those positions within the government. Most officials that get elected or appointed have deeper pockets than their competitors.
