  • Your graphics card is good enough to run all games at medium/semi-high video setting configuration. the rest matters less. I am waiting on the GTX580 myself since I am a PC gaming freak but my general advice/spec to all the budget builders:

CPU: any dual core or better

GPU: Nvidia 8800GT and up (trust me on this)

    RAM: 4GB DDR2 or better

the rest is shit so dont worry what u have or u dont.

    My current gaming rig:

    Intel q6700 2.4 quad core + 6GB DDR2 + XFX 8800GT alpha dog edition at 512mb v-ram

  • @sorooshusa I am now running a phenon ii x4 B55 @ 3.6GHz 4gigs ddr3 1333 radeon hd 4850 and a new motherboard, all of them being small and slow upgrades from the system in the vid. I can now run BF3 decently lol.

  • I don't understand why "free product" companies even exist...

  • @GotsProblems they make a lot of money and you get free stuff

  • name...exactly the same....WTF

  • @kingofiron257 i joined in march 2007 you joined in 2010 lol

  • @50cliber Considering the fact that my build is from 4 years ago and I can still run all the new games at medium to high resolution and graphics settings, i'd say its pretty good. btw im waiting on GTX580 to drop in price since Kepler is coming soon, not that I am waiting to receive it in mail or anything, of course im gonna upgrade everything else. maybe ivy bridge with GA-UD5 ddr3 2000mhz

  • @sorooshusa your setup is shit you have a Intel q6700 that costs £107 and you say your wating on a gtx580 witch costs £440 i say bulshit ( unless proven wrong ) your ram is ddr2 if you get a 580 with a q6700 it will just bottleneck your pc

  • @kingofwar2469 Well, there you go, you might have a better system than I. I am pretty happy with my setup which was built around 3 or 4 years ago im not exactly sure. exactly around when 8800GT hit the shelves. and ever since then, there hasnt been a game that I couldnt play on decent settings. 8800GT GDDR3's are really high in bandwidth, but GDDR5s are much better at rendering and FPS once you turn on the iCandy

  • @kingofwar2469 how did you get so many points? the most ive had is 600 i think

  • I'll tell yah, life's a bitch, especially when your building an $800 pc and no one pitches in

  • @blackvalley007 It means 2 cores, or as in this case threads which are virtual cores (each core split to 2).
