Congresswoman Barbara Lee questions General Petraeus and Ambassador Crocker, during a House Committee on Foreign Affairs Hearing, on the impact of the Iraq War on the security of the United States and the economy, as well as the intent of the administration to maintain a long-term US military presence in Iraq.
The general can't answer because the answer is "yes". He will strike wherever he is told to. If Iran isn't in his crosshairs, it will be soon enough.

I am starting my own campaign to end the Iraq War. I love to cook and I am innovative in creating new and different recipes. Today I began surfing the web to download Iraqi, Afghani and Iranian recipes. I downloaded a cardamon cookie recipe from Iraq, a vegetarian main dish from Afghanistan and a butternut squash vegetable dish from Iran. I am going to make all three in my sunoven in my backyard and write a little article for Vegetarian Times about the experience.

Barbara Lee is 1 of the few in congress who is actually doing their job! I'm thoroughly disgusted by this government and their choices. They don't give a sh-- about us and the proof is disturbingly evident.

Should we worry that the general doesn't answer if he has the authority to attack Iran?
