New Super Mario Bros Wii 4-5 - 453

Hehe, you can tell I didn't like how this one came out - I accidentally cut the recording off a bit. But still, it isn't that bad of a run...It's still nasty how I get hit, though. DX

I honestly think it's possible to get 454, but I'd have to look into some stuff. I think you can pick up a little bit of speed when running off a tiny slope, but I'm not entirely sure.

Oh also, I did a practice SS run today. (Lol, Youtube is my blog) I did an ok job, died a few times on 8-Airship, and I had to do 5-3 instead of 5-2, but I'm glad I managed the last stage on the first attempt. Gotta work kinks out and stuff...Also, I don't have access to my DVD recorder, so I can't submit the run anywhere. DX It'd probably be in the sorry quality all my runs have been in so far. Sad face.

Sure, the quality may not be the greatest, but I'd love to see a SS run all the same.

On the video: That is quite a long second to shave off to get 454. Time doesn't seem to stop when you get hit though, nor when you touch the flag. If you could avoid getting hit and avoid the flag I believe it could be done.

Cool. I'll probably get a Wii when it hits $100. But ya know, this game looks like it could have been done on the SUPER NINTENDO! lol... Ah well.
