My brother and I really liked this game. It was conceptually a Q*Bert knockoff(instead of changing colors on a pyramid, you stomp the hexagonal grid pieces to an even height), but it made a lot of changes to the play, and the graphics hold up well even today.

Unfortunately, because of the heavy diagonal movement it's one of those games that are better played on the keyboard than with a joystick.

  • I never saw this game before !!

    he looks great

    many thanks !

  • It maybe a Q*Bert knock off but it looks like fun. An updated version is needed for today!

  • I love this game. :) Hard to play with a gamepad, though. (I use a Sega Genesis controller with my 800XL most of the time.)

  • I love this Game...so much fun!!

  • I'm surprised that I never saw this before. Looks quite excellent, and it's just different enough from Q-Bert to have its own style. Nice!

  • You're right about the graphics. Being simple and stylised, they still look good. There were quite a few Q*Bert clones on the 800. Pogo Joe (Check my videos) was another.

  • How do you play this game? What are the rules? Thanks!

  • Don't remember ever seeing this one.

  • Damn... another cool looking game I never got to play!

  • thanks for sharing this. The Atari was a good machine. In some things it was better than a C64
