My brother and I really liked this game. It was conceptually a Q*Bert knockoff(instead of changing colors on a pyramid, you stomp the hexagonal grid pieces to an even height), but it made a lot of changes to the play, and the graphics hold up well even today.
Unfortunately, because of the heavy diagonal movement it's one of those games that are better played on the keyboard than with a joystick.

I love this game. :) Hard to play with a gamepad, though. (I use a Sega Genesis controller with my 800XL most of the time.)

I'm surprised that I never saw this before. Looks quite excellent, and it's just different enough from Q-Bert to have its own style. Nice!

You're right about the graphics. Being simple and stylised, they still look good. There were quite a few Q*Bert clones on the 800. Pogo Joe (Check my videos) was another.
