  • OMG...Great pictures, great memories, this band was unbelievable and Andy Stone was the ultimate performer...still is!~

  • @spblouin Thanks for the info... now that I listen to it.. doesn't sound like Vince..

  • @spblouin Thanks fofr the info.. :)

  • @elfgirl3 The vocals on this song are actually done by Raymond Blanchard, the drummer. He wrote this song after a terrible car accident involving the bands van. There was one band member killed in the accident. Anyway... Andy Stone was the vocalist at the time. Raymond and his brother Lyle (the keyboardist) hail from Pierre Part, Louisiana and are tremendous musicians.

  • GREAT Post!!!

  • Oh the memories!!!! This is the era I discovered Vince Vance.

  • poor Vince doesnt have a good voice..Thank God he has the Valianettes :) ... but I love their music.. great entertainers.. I wish Lisa Layne was still with them

  • Vinnie is very funny during a show but a really hot, romantic guy in real life. Enjoyed the visit with him at Starbucks. He's highly intelligent and gifted.

  • Great slideshow, I really enjoyed it, and Vince Vance is just wonderful. How could anyone not like him, he's really something.

  • I heard this song and it sounds like a song the Valiants put together in the early 1980's after they had the bus crash in SE Texas near Beaumont, circa 1982. Am I right?

BTW, I was a fan of Richard Heath who died in the crash. He was a baby-face who play kick-ass guitar. I also liked Tschoupitoulas and his pyramid.
