This is why I keep trigger locks on all my guns even my M16A4 and M9 tactical and PDW's

@joshguy64 I don't have a problem with guns, but I'm aware that statistically, your loved ones are more likely to be injured or killed by your own guns (or "guard" dogs for that matter) than someone else's.

@DimeraFan28 Yep, sounds Aussie to me!

My Grammy & Pa always kept guns, sometimes loaded guns, in their rural house. However, we were told from a very young age to NEVER go in their room and NEVER touch the guns. If we were even caught opening the door, we would get a severe talking to, and maybe even a spanking. We learned as small children that guns were not toys and you couldn't play with them.

@greatestsongsofLIFE I don't know why not. They should have. ;) I mean, not so much shot them in face, hahaha. But they should have been held responsible.

@epcdaniel Why didnt they arrest the parents for 1. Leaving their young kids home alone WITH their friends and 2. Leaving a rifle sitting by a chair with the bullets in it! The cops should have shot the parents in the face when they arrived at the hospital

@bekimA16 That was a Marlin 336...

"No, not me. It'll never happen to me"... Well, it wouldn't have, had you locked up your gun or even just not had it loaded.. Ya Tool. Makes me so angry.

Guns are not to play with.

I just can't believe that this little girl survived after getting shot by a .30/30!
Read the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution dumbass.
If guns are banned, the criminals who mock the laws of society and your liberal way of thinking will still get them regardless, and use them for their evil purposes while the law abiding citizen is left with nothing to defend themselves with. I would rather be alive with a gun in my hand looking at the dead body of a criminal who tried to rob/kill me, than to be the one dead with the criminal standing over me with a gun in his hand.

@opinionatediam
That's also another point I forgot to mention. When you purchase a firearm, most gun stores offer classes and/or training on how to properly handle and safely secure a firearm so that way someone does not accidentally gets shot with your own weapon.
That is part of the failure of the parents in this segment, not securing their firearm safely.
Its just that I am sick of all the anti-gun morons who clutter here to spew their 'ban all guns' speeches and drama.
