I am glad someone was brave enough to make a bold statement about this, when too many middle aged men so closely associate their "manhood" with the performance of their local sports team to see any flaws in it. Look up Big Red Sooner Scandal. Educate yourself.

I attend Oklahoma University, and after reading the article i Think Claire had some valid points. The response was mostly "I do too study, how dare she?"
Emotions aside, these students must concede that a large number of "star" athletes have a different lifestyle and different expectations than the average student. Theres has been a number of scandals involving this very topic on my campus.
