@reg1120 and coltan, and lithium, and opiates, and cocaine

Monique is a good example of someone who's actually proud of their ignorance
-
I find it funny that no one on the panel thought to mention that maybe nobody cares because it's black people dying or being abused in Africa... just a thought - America is pretty racist against blacks. Maybe it's the racism is so ingrained that the non-chalance about blood diamonds is subconscious racism? I could be stretching here, because the fact is not enough people even know anything about blood diamonds, despite that DiCaprio movie about it (Djimon Honsou rocked the shit in that one)

what a bitch maybe if her sons got there arms cut off she'd change her mind.
-
The sad part is, if you were to say that they smuggled the diamonds across the border in the bodies of dead puppies then the average retarded bitch would probably care.
-
Why won't the fat nigger shut up?
-
@ESP1EMG thats a poor justification. in the way we use them diamonds are essentially a useless object. Therefore there is a perfectly good place to start drawing the line. And child labor does in no way equal the funding of drugs and civil wars which cause far more damage. The good 85% are probably mined by children anyway. Why support it? because you can show it off to your girlfriends....

That columnist made a good point about Chinese slave labor.

I thought Monique had better morals and respect for human life by like her eating habits, she could care less how the food get's to her giant plate.

If a kid dies for diamonds whatever ... those same women will go crazy though if harm some useless animals. Hypocrates
Monique made Bill's point

I agree. She is being an ass and promoting a lot of very offensive stereotypes of women. I'm a woman and I wouldn't want a diamond-- why spend all that money on a piece of glass-like material as a "symbol of love"? Stupid.
