From memory only, it was about 2m48s. The following year I went back with more power and data logging and in practice did a 2m41.8s and 239kph on the limiter but a plug fell out of the oil pump in qualifying and destroyed the motor.

What's the story with that Pulsar in front? It seemed pretty quick. I didn't think those Pulsars were fast, to be honest. Maybe it was running some serious mods? What mods does the XR4 have?

Improved Production cars can be seriously modified. I believe that Nissan was NSW u2litre champion at one stage. The XR4 was near standard at that stage but not now. You can google my website for more info. Look for ttcracing
