Royal Albert Hall, 26 November 1968.

Director: Tony Palmer
Producer: Robert Stigwood
Cinematography: Willy Kurant, Gabor Pogany

Farewell Concert is the live recording of the Cream's final concert at the Royal Albert Hall on 26 November 1968. Aside from the band's reunion concert in 2005, it is Cream's only official full concert release on video. It was originally broadcast by the BBC on 5 January 1969. It was not released on video in the US until 1977. The opening act for the concert was future progressive rock stars Yes who were just starting out.

Whenever I'm sick of rock music, Cream brings back that joy and hunger. My favorite rock band of all time! I'm so glad!

That should read: 'Learned from'. To become a giant, you need to stand on the shoulders of previous giants.

Everybody knows about Baker & Clapton but Jack Bruce's great too; back then he was always # 1 bass-player in polls.. here it seems like the songs were unimportant in themselves but White Room, I Feel Free, Sunshine Of Your Love, Strange Brew, Badge, Tales Of Brave Ulysses, etc.. are classic songs, as their arrangement of Skip James' I'm So Glad, etc.. I remember Bruce saying that Lou Reed's Berlin was one of his favourite records of those he played on.. he knows what ART is!

    Thanks for the post!

"turn all the bass off on the tone control" for the woman tone at just under 19 minutes. Am I trippin' or did he say that incorrectly? Because the tone control on a guitar turned off, is all bass.
