Sophia was standing there, looking kind of shy. "Hi..." I said. "Hi...erm...Joe...I just wanted to say you're really good...and I'm sorry for not telling you sooner...I didn't want to admit it..." She said. I shrugged. "Sophia...I love you, and even if you're not ready for this, I still always will. And as long as you're happy...I'm happy." I said. Sophia smiled and tucked her hair behind her ears. "You're quite a character Joe you know that? You're taking this wonderfully..." She said. I glanced down and noticed a sparkle on her hand. I looked closer and noticed it was her engagement ring. I mentally smiled when I saw she hadn't taken it off. "I love you Soph." I said and hugged her. Then she went back to her dance floor to do what God was wanting her to do. I forced myself to smile as my heart broke seeing her dance...She was so beautiful and graceful and talented...The night drug on and I could finally go home...
I was in my room when Nick barged in. "What?" I asked. "Dude...You are in a serious mess." Nick said. "What are you talking about?" I asked. "You are in a case of forbidden love." He said. "What do you mean?" I asked. "You have all the symptoms...You are in a haze and staying by yourself and when your around other people you are quite and not yourself." He said. "Dude, this is why you're not aloud to watch Oprah..." I said. Nick sighed. "If you wanna talk about it I'm here. But try to remember that God's just doing this for a reason..." Nick said and walked out. I sighed and changed out of my concert clothes into a tee shirt and track pants. I sat at my keyboard but nothing came. I finally tried to get some sleep but it wasn't the same...Sophia was still in my mind but instead of the happiness of seeing her tomorrow, my mind was heavy with sorrow that I wouldn't see her for a year...
