@kaushiksays really? i can choose to patronize any business i want with my freely earned money. so can everyone else. i am free to choose to support or boycott any business i wish. economic freedom is truth.

@chrispollock Economic Freedom is a myth.

@tomitstube thanks for not answering my question. you obviously have no sense of proportion or reality. capitalism is still the champion of all systems. bye.
-
@chrispollock ~ your comments are so much generic cheer leading i'll just tell you to read my last comment.

@tomitstube without capitalism, you do not have individual economic freedom. therefore you do not have individual political freedom, freedom from domination by the majority, the mob. you hate capitalism but cannot cite any system in practice that does a better job producing freedom and prosperity amongst the great majority.
-
@chrispollock ~ you must be in marketing, blah blah blah, god bless capitalism. blah blah blah.
you haven't said anything meaningful or pertinent to specific facts in 4 posts.
save your rah rah rah bullshit for someone who's got their head in their ass. not me cowboy. capitalism is nothing but a pyramid scheme, it has nothing to do with freedom. that's what democracy does goober.

@tomitstube capitalism is a system of free action, voluntary exchange, and continuous accountability. it is freedom and prosperity. there is no better system. neoliberalism attempts to give poor countries opportunities to compete in the labor market and improve their own lives through economic liberalization. capitalism benefits the millions more than any other system. every other system destroys freedom.
-
@chrispollock ~ you play word games, your argument is nonsensical so you call up down, and left right.
capitalism is a pyramid scheme, neoliberal policies are nothing more than blackmailing poor countries into debt extortion. right now your alma mater of corruption, the chamber of commerce, is lobbying to end regulations preventing them from "bribing" foreign governments.
the imf, wto, world bank use the cia for capitalist economic terrorism, benefiting the few at the expense of millions.

@tomitstube protecting and subsidizing industry is a socialistic move, that is, away from a liberalized free market business model system. slavery is not wage labor, wage laborers are free to come and go as they please in accordance with their voluntary agreement with an employer. neo liberal policies have created the foundation for economic liberalization, even if you have prostitutes, you have free prostitutes who cannot be steamrolled by the state. capitalism is freedom and prosperity.
-
@chrispollock ~ "socialist protectionist legislation"? where'd you get that oxymoronic nonsense? michelle bachmann? uh yes, "slavery is forced labor"... duh. for profit. and your point is.....?
"child prostitutes are lessened by available wage work"... in theory, in reality it's "created" by neo-liberal policies that drive DOWN wages thru monetary blackmail and labor suppression.
capitalism is a shell game. and so is your idiotic argument.
