Nevermind. Just got a harness from nissan, it was 30$.

Can i use my original harness for this if im able to get it off the sensor without removing the intake mani? Can i pull out the wire if i take the distributor off?

can i do this to a 1998 pathfinder looks like a quick and simple fix and i need to repalce mine tomorrow before the superbowl an do no want to spend all day. thanks for the help plase let me know

@102sammy I have this code too. My gas milage is 16.4 mpg on a 2wd crewcab frontier. Manual tranny.

@superch11 You will get a code. This code won't trip your check engine light. Have a buddy or autoparts store plug in a obd2 computer.

@102sammy yes - when the knock sensor isn't functioning properly the power output of your engine is reduced to protect it. This results in decreased gas mileage.

Hey Great Video.... I have a 2000 Xterra and the check engine light keeps coming on... Scanner is showing a Knock sensor code. Will this Mod work for my xterra as well?
