@HealingVibrations very true, cause i was talking to a friend of mine named AJ, he claims school might as well be a prision. Teachers are there just to get a pay-check while were stuck in what he put as a "grading system" as opposed to a learning system. thats just his view though, i actually find some teachers who actually care about education.

@X360H911 They do screw us, but there are ways to beat "the man", it takes creativity, and a profound will, and love from friends & family.
-
@HealingVibrations with that logic it might as well be "do everything we say & you'll get screwed."

Um...These guys got into politics despite failing in school because they were connected from the beginning. Gore's father was a senator. Bush's was head of the CIA, later demoted to VP, and later still demoted to president.

@bapyou Of course. If it sounds non-partisan, it is! If it has a nice name that doesn't immediately imply an interested party, then it must be impartial and judicious. Good thing we have our public schools to teach people how to think like this. Especially brilliant and wholly consistent phrases like "non-partisan GOVERNMENT ENTITY" I think that partisan bickering has to end and both sides should work together to get things done. Can I get my A now?

Kids like Gore and Cheney and Bush that come from wealthy families get to attend the best colleges, it really doesnt matter if they do well or not, theyre from elite bloodlines and theyre families will make sure that they get into key positions in society to get lots of money to further dominate society. College is a way to get most of america into school loan debt, and to weed out the people who dont want to play the game of "do everything we say, or you get screwed", corporate slave training

If you can't get home schooled, educate yourself in your spare time. Be what YOU want to be. Volunteer so you can learn REAL things from REAL life. some things in school may help you, but don't fall into letting your friends advise you on things they, too, are not old enough to know about. Cultivate friends from ALL age groups. Learn to question, learn to LISTEN. Learn to think and make decisions; learn from your mistakes, big and small. This is education; this is life.

@mellowtribe It's not exactly that extreme and honestly, I find high schools to be suffering from this more. At least in College you have freedom to pick your classes, to dorm, and, typically, to have a few sick days without a doctor's note. It also helps that there are usually more friendly and social people due to the atmosphere in most colleges.

Schools don't kill creativity, government does.
Do schools kill creativity? If creativity was a person schools would be it's concentration camp! I think that young people are going through a creativity holocaust perpetrated by teachers especially ones who hate their jobs. Everyone who agrees this is a disgusting inconvenient truth give me a thumbs up. BTW I'm only twenty years old and I understand this.
