A short film shot by my grandfather in 8mm film during war. Showing culture differences between Americans and the Japanesse. The destruction the atomic bomb caused, & the capabilities of the US Navy during this time. Edited by Ryan Saul with music by Olev Muska.

  • Grandad must have been very well off to have an 8mm cine camera in those days

  • @WELLBRAN- He used a great little camera, actually had to wind-up, then push a trigger to pull the film through. We still have it-

  • @marinsito As a human youre never just an individual. Youre always an individual AND a member of your society at the same time. Responsibility just means that you have to live with the consequences what you do or dont, as well as what your state does or doesnt. Fascists will never understand this because they see themselves as subjects. Fascism = the state/government/leader is responsible for everything, the individual is responsible for nothing. Its the ideology of the degenerated, the coward

  • you kow i hate seeing this nonsense of hte japenese got what they deserved... thats a really ignorant comment, for the simple fact that there was alot of innocent people that didn't do shit to deserve this... you know who deserves this bomb their fucking leaders go kill them and their army they are the ones fucking up not the normal people in villages...

  • That shot on the carrier deck and the helicopter are Korean War vintage.

  • The music is great and riddled in folklorish sounds of Estonia. Very progressive and haunting and clever. More from Olev Muska please.....

  • What a bunch of crap. Did you ever hear of the Rape of Nanking? They got what they deserved.

  • Actually "Devil Dog," the Allied forces did put a few jet aircraft into operation. But very late in the war.

  • The US did not have jets in WWII - keep your propaganda! We finished what they started.

  • thanks for uploading. i love the music
