By banning these xboxes microsoft can get their lost profits back as the fools are forced to buy new xboxes. Win! (on microsofts part)
I don't even have an xbox yet lol. Mainly cos there aren't too many games out there I'd play much. Most of them I'd play the campaign and leave it. Only awesome games like GoW3 and Halo CEA, I'd get for multiplayer.
If you want to play games but not purchase them fully, borrow it from a friend or even rent it. Here in the UK you even get cashback on games traded.

But the problem with that is, my "MUM" always loved me and loved me enough to net make me into what you are, which is a girl LOL.
