@RedneckResponder Thank you for taking the time to reply to my question I really appresiated.

@hernandez152 First build a coop or use an old shed. Make sure it is predator proof. Make sure someone near you sells feed. Buy your waters and feeders. build nest boxes and install them. If you get baby chicks you will need heat lamps and special waterers and feed. You may want a fence that dogs can't get into. Be able to let them go in the morning and lock them in at night. Google "raising chickens" and do a lot of reading for details.

I boutht a house which on one acre lot and I would like to put a chicken coop but I don't know where to start. Can any body tell me what will be the first step to do. Thanks

Nice coop , farm fresh eggs taste best allot better than store bought . And the good thing is you know where they came from and who has been gathering the eggs. I raise chickens too!!!!!!!!!!

@drahm33 Not a store bought egg. But fresh eggs can sit on the counter for a couple of weeks and still be fresher then ones from the store.

i wouldn't eat a 3 day old unrefrigerated egg!

How did you eat them and how delicious were they.
they look like fingers threw the crack of wood at first.
