2. capitalize God if only out of respect for other peoples beliefs

3. Jesus was most definitely not a hippie, he called people no good snakes and flipped tables, Jesus was a man, he worked in construction

I'm not religious at all, and I don't like to associate myself with any religion. I like to believe what i want, but i respect each religion because it brings something special to the table. I don't agree entirely of it. I respect christianity, especially when it comes to music. I love christian rock, rap, and metal bands so freaken much and will always enjoy it.

just putting it out there... jesus doesn't hate religious people. he loves everyone no matter where we're at, being a bit religious and pride full (which is everyone to a degree) or maybe we are trying really hard to be as holy as we can. the only true judgment is when jesus judges our heart. and even then his grace is enough :)

People use the word "religious" in different ways. Jesus was against religion for its own sake (see Pharisses). Any religion that is built on the views of mankind will be in error even if its intentions are good.

OTOH, complaints RE: religion are often just an excuse to not go to church and the Bible says that we should have corporate worship among believers
