This was an interesting file. It was weird enough when we discovered that we could often recover or fix bad or corrupted Adobe InDesign files with, get this, QuarkXPress and the Markzware plugin ID2Q (And then once in Quark, bring back via Q2ID within InDesign.)- then we ran into this one.

A customers file who seemed to be recovered via this method and then CRASH in Quark... Luckily in QuarkXPress 8 they have a feature which saves the file when Quark is crashing and places it in a folder called "QuarkRescueFolder" on your desktop. Watch the action in this video...
