This is the flight that i came to America on in 2004,and the flight number is still the same today. Now I fly this route twice a year. This video is made for my old memories...

do people really fly a fs that long and how do people know its 3 meals and 4 movies and 2 naps. or do people stop the flight pick a short flight to jfk and pick the same aircraft and act like they flew that long?

yes people actually fly that long. The longest international flight i believe is around 16 hours.

i took this flight when ca981 didnt come straight to jfk from beijing. it used to leave beijing and land in detroit. now its just 1 flight from jfk to beijing back and forth. i take this flight also to go back to china haha. and plus the captains of this flight are not always the same. the captains of the flight i took spoke good english but with heavy accent.

the longest flight plan is from emirates which flyies from dubai to houston and it takes 17hrs

@closemee I reckon you should do some research. I don't want this to turn into an argument either, but it's plain fact that you can't fly directly from New Zealand to London. When flying with Emirates from Melbourne and Sydney to London, you have to have a stopover at Dubai. Same goes with Auckland, but you would have to stopover in Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane in addition to the stopover in Dubai. Qantas has stopovers in Singapore and Bangkok for flights from Sydney and Melbourne to London.
