Howdy diggers,
Spent 5 hours detecting at that elementary school in the country and found a sled hill. Tons of clad today.

  • Hey Dave. Any tips for someone just starting out with a Ace 250? Id like to upgrade to an etrac but ill mess around with this until i get better.

  • @gee07060 Thanks George. It took me about 4 or 5 months of practicing to get really proficient with my ACE 250. Once I learned to tell good signals from trash signals, I could spend less time digging trash and more time digging goodies. You really have to "become one" with your machine and learn what she is telling you. I had mine about 16 months before I upgraded to an e-trac. Best wishes and there are tons of great ACE 250 videos on YT to learn from.

  • How do you clean your stuff?

    Greets from Germany

  • @sweetsandtoxics An hour and a half in a rock tumbler with water and a little dish soap (no grit).

  • Enjoying your videos. I just bought an Ace 350 and have no experience. What kind of pin pointer do you use. I need to buy one obviously.

  • @freezeinak I use the Garrett Pro Pointer. It is worth every penny too. It really cuts down on digging time (by half). There are also lots less scratched coins. Best wishes and HH!
