I had the same problem. It was driving me crazy.

Opening up the device, removing the screen cables (#1, #2, and #3), the re-attaching them, making sure the were fully-seated and well-connected, then re-assembling seemed to fix my problem. It's working just find again now.

you need a new digitizer !!! i had the same problem with mine and i bought a new digitizer and lcd on amazon for 40.00 and replaced it myself and my phone works like its brand new again its not software !!!!! fucking retards
