I love it. Low miles. Beautiful car. I just sold my 69 and am looking for an older one like that one. Hoping for a sunroof model.

In the late seventies-early eighties I had 2 '65's one '66 oh and a '73 Squareback Although no mechanical "expert" I sure learned a lot about restoration, tips
and tricks, sometimes building my own tools, thumbing through Idiot Guide etc.
My brother had a "64 Beetle. I'm glad to share info. Jim

Is that a '66 rear deck lid? 1300?

@Fladavenue I think it is. I know the engine is a 1200 by the codes, but it seems somewhere down the line the lid was swapped.

Hey! nice car man, I've driven my friend's car which is the same year model and my only complain about it, is the steering, it's a bit unstable, is that common/normal?

My steering is tight and smooth, so idk

What is it about bugs that brings out the kid in everyone? BTW...
Vent Windows: call em wings
Air Tight: Call it "air lock supremacy"
Just words of wisdom from one bug owner to another... Happy driving!
