I honestly don't know what differentiates FFXI's Nidhogg from any other generic Western-style dragon. Must be the SPIKE FLAIL.

@admirs6 His name is Nidhögg or Nidhug from the word Níðhöggr in the Edda. He is a "Lindorm" or a giant snake from our ancient mythology just like Jormundgand (Midgårdsormen) or Fafner. And yes, dragons are traditionally snakes in Scandinavia.

Not a snake. Nidhogg IS a dragon, but nothing like this.
Love Norse mythology too.

:o Nidhogg is supposed to be a Snake from norse mythology. Square doesn't seem to know :p(I love Norse Mythology so i know!)
