Doctor Who-The End of Time - Pony Ending - SPOILERS

The alternate ending to "End of Time".


For those of you that read Rae you know she filled our shipper hearts with so much hope that EOT would end happy...unfortunately we saw how it really ended. This is a dedication to her hope to keep that pony alive in our minds. For those of you who don't read, she created many ideas on how the ending COULD have gone, this is just one of them....simply put..10.2 switches minds with 10. The meaning of it all is below, a reference to her LiveJournal:

"The reason this is pony positive is that it presents an alternative to the Doctor. HUMANS are important to the him, always have been, but he's never fully embraced that love. If he can accept the loss of his people, he can be with Rose...start over and have a family again. She's not less than him in any way. He's not a god. They are just two people who love one another. He can set aside what he's been mourning all this time as soon as he remembers that it isn't real. The Time Lords fundamentally disagree with the Doctor's personal viewpoint on life and how to live it. That is ultimately what killed them. The Doctor's future lies with the human race, those people who upon seeing a chasm...jump into it. He doesn't belong with those stuffy, pompous, useless Senators. He belongs with Rose Tyler...and his future should be as brother to Donna Noble. He can be a surrogate member of her family via Metacrisis."

@Anacondas101 It was initially made for a livejournal user who referred to a happy ending with the doctor and rose as fans' "pony" they wanted for christmas. So I made it for her and other fans who wanted a happy ending as well.

@dhanotarox well in the actual series he absorbs all the radiation in the chamber that Wilf was originally stuck in. That radiation was killing him which made him regenerate. :)

My "pony" ending involves him returning to Joan Redfern and using the Chameleon arch. The vision from Family of Blood would have been a prophetic one. He entrusts a fob watch to Joan. We see the continuation of the deathbed scene from FoB, though after he says "It's done. Thank You." and closes his eyes, Joan opens the watch and he regenerates. Young 11 wakes up on John's deathbed, and offers to care for Joan, though she says John has died, and so 11 walks the green hills, back to the TARDIS.

I watch this 2 a week from start to finish and it never stops to amaze me that David tennenat could get so many people to love him. When he left there was not a dry eye any where. But David will be missed. But don't fret just yet reports but not absulotly solid have said David might come back! He sai himself the idea sounds exciting and it might be fun but if I do then I will be the first to tell people. So don't fret David might come back but that's not until 2013 for dr whos 50th anniversary.
