I got this log splitter when I bought the 1953 Ford Jubilee. When I tried to find out about it I was surprised to see that they had all been recalled years ago due to safety concerns. It doesn't work as well as a hydraulic ram style, but it gets the job don.

  • Man, I thought I had the only one left! I shortened the driveshaft on mine so I wouldn't have to take the overrunning clutch off and on. You need to cover the ends of those two support pipes if you store it outside to keep out water. Two aluminum cans with the ends cut out work for me.
