Yeah i dont see why they chouldit keep her feisty side.It seem to me they wanting to turn Madge into Helen.Why Madge has got some very good points and kind women she does however have tough side
@Homeandawayguy it was also the fact that she felt Madge had been turned into a more 'meek and passive' character which was a far cry from the feisty person she was always written as. I have to agree.
I remember that episode on BBC One back in 1998 when she fell, due to her having a brain aneurysm, which then left her blind for a little while in Autumn 1998.
Blimey, Madge sure did take a tumble down those stairs, didn't she?

No in interview she said it was due to fact of not getting any storylines outside coffe shop.Wish Madge was sitll alive.
