Professional V8 driver Tim Leahey takes you on a hot lap of Bathurst's Mount Panorama track, driving the racing simulator software 'rFactor' from Image Space Incorporated.

Every now and then, something comes along that blurs the line between real and... unreal! Sim (simulated) racing is the collective term for computer software that attempts to accurately simulate auto racing, complete with real-world variables such as fuel usage, damage, tire wear and grip, and suspension settings. To be competitive in sim racing, a driver must understand all aspects of car handling that make real-world racing so difficult, such as threshold braking, how to maintain control of a car as the tires lose traction, and how to properly enter and exit a turn without sacrificing speed. It is this level of difficulty that distinguishes sim racing from "arcade" driving games where real-world variables are taken out of the equation and the principle objective is to create a sense of speed as opposed to a sense of realism. ...let us introduce you to the sport of sim racing and to the Troyton Racing Simulator... for the very very serious driver. Troyton Racing presents the cutting edge personal racing simulator featuring state of the art simulator steering wheels and pedal combination. This Australian designed and built driving simulator combines some of the world's best racing hardware to give you the ultimate driving experience. Available in either two or three pedal models, Troyton gives you a definitive edge.whether you are racing the clock trimming 10ths of your personal best or racing online against drivers from all over the world. ABOUT US Troyton Racing is a company located in Orange, Central Western New South Wales. Just a half hour drive west of the Holy Grail of motor sport in Australia... Mt Panorama, Bathurst. A few years ago, we set out to produce a personal racing simulator of the highest possible quality. We wanted to give people the opportunity to experience the huge advancement in racing simulation software, in a racing environment that offers some of the best possible hardware available in the world today. We took a 'cut no corners' approach to create something that not only will look fantastic in your space, but has a build quality that is second to none and will give you a life time of enjoyment. We understand that motor sport is a passion, that inside everyone there is a race car driver, so we designed a piece of machinery that allows you to live out those childhood fantasies of driving your dream race car around your favourite race track, without needing the million dollar budget to do it. We wanted to create something 'special' so the every day person can learn to appreciate the incredible skills needed by 'real life' drivers, that dance these high powered, four wheeled 'weapons' around race tracks every weekend all around the world, chasing that elusive perfect lap or podium finish. We love our motor sport. ...and we know you will love our Simulators. Welcome to Troyton Racing... we know you'll enjoy the ride!

  • @VAGELIS199 Arrr yes they do mate. They went to a sequential adapter kit, so now they dont "have" to except around the pits or starts. But that vid was done when they still had H pattern, and the mod being used was representing 2006.

  • the real racing cars is don't have a clutch!

  • @codbeastintv Just try and learn it if you really want too it'll take you about a month or less. There is plenty of info on it. Use a car park or open roads to practice.
