@ItoDaigoro i happen to be a person who could not train with regular weights because of a bad car accident where i was rear ended and i lost all my core strength. after a hot trainer showed me how to use this thing on a cruise, i ended up buying it and it helped me regain control of my muscles again. this machine works much better than any free weights out there bc every exercise requires u to stabilize your abs. i recommend this for anyone that has a bad back. this vid shows great exercises!

That's fair; I appreciate the reply, Ito.

bosszeroboss, I agree with your argument of the ridiculous influx of gadgets and crap we are being exposed to on a daily basis. However, I have to disagree with you view on this machine. I'm a personal trainer and lead class with this machine. The advantage to this (vs. "standard" weights) is that this machine is great for those who CANNOT deal with "regular" weight routines for whatever reason. It is also an extremely good alternative to ADD to your routine.
Otherwise, I agree with you.

Okay, I'll admit this machine seems useful, but whatever happened to simply lifting real weight? How about a pair of adjustable dumbbells, or an exercise bar and plenty of plates?
People have grown too accustomed to gadgets and widgets and things that are ridiculous or simply don't work.
For Pete's sake, just get a used $15 dollar bar and $15 worth of standard plates and learn how to exercise!
Sheesh, I'm watching the chickification of America happening before my very eyes!
