A friend of mine, whose dad and grandfather worked at Johnson outboards had one just like this. The only difference was that his was self-propelled. It had metal slotted wheels and it had a gearbox that drove the wheels.
First time I've ever seen a Lawn Boy snow thrower like that. I've seen the Toro based snow throwers but never an actual Lawn Boy unit. They also made edgers to I've worked on a couple they seem like they would work good but they are just loud.
