Riding Sassy Tackless In The Snow

First, many thanks to Ben Washburn (dubbleUmaster) for giving me permission to use his wonderful rendition of Mozart's Sonata In C Major K 595. It was the perfect music for this video.

This was only our second attempt at tackless riding, but, Sassy, as usual, just steps up and performs whatever I ask of her, and we even got some trotting going for a bit! This is the first time I have had an opportunity to ride Sassy in the snow; I have been praying for the stuff for weeks, as we get so little of it here in Northwest Washington State, and I did want to get in a ride in the snow. Thanks, Jenny and Licorice, for finally sending some our way ; )

Great ride! It is lovely to ride in different kind of weather, the bonding with the horse only grows stronger and stronger.

Riding in snow.. the snow makes the ride even more special :) It is always a pleasure to see how Sassy is doing!!

@jessep500 We get snow up here very rarely too. This year we ended up having a snowstorm, followed by an icestorm, followed by a windstorm, which we are currently experiencing.

The snow with this is awesome!! So lucky to have snow...we've had 1 snow in the last 30 years and by the time we were going to ride it was all mush!! Sassy looks like she had a very fun ride as well!!
