How to mod your Original Xbox

**Update** I was informed that Datel took off the saves for the mechasault save exploit. You can find the saves on the xbox linux website

@1234janke do you mean the official software? then again both ways your pretty much screwed..the only way to get official software is to find a install disk online now. For the modded dashboard, you'd just have to find the newest version of the dashboard and install as the instructions tell you

@sycosnot you place the saves in the program files of the action repay program (in the directory were the saves are, for mechassault). after that, if you had placed it in the right spot, it should show up in the mechassault saves section

Do you might know a way to mod an xbox to play 360 games and acsess everything a 360 can?

@rokuterra sure! simply replace cpu, graphics card, hard drive, motherboard, ram, and make the heatsink impossibly terrible, and poof! you got a 360 =D

i just got a mod xbox and i cant figure out how to start up the mod and old games the original xbox menu still comes up but the files are there for the nes and genises games but i cant get to em ....someone please help
