English country dancing! Where men and women can flirt with each other, be coy, suggestive (or not), show off their fine clothes (or not) and have fun, even WITH the local vicar present! I say this in admiration and I'm Dutch! :)

Is this Chris Rogers the same as the internationally known expert (with Ellis) on quadrilles? When they say Flirt, they know what they're talking about! Their classes are 100% scholarly and 200% fun -- just what country dance has always been. Mimmar3891, they were more restrained about leaping into bed but within the conventions of what dancing masters taught there's scope for all sorts of body language.

LOL. Restraint was the name of the game in those days. There may have been some eye flirting, but this style of dance really wasn't designed to be sexy.

Dance! Get off the ground! Flirt! Put some sex into it!

YOUNG people did these dances and they did them for FUN. Is that what these people are doing? Convince me!

    Chris Rogers, England.

That looks like fun. Kind of like square dancing.
