I worked in the gorcery business for 38 years, got laid off 3 times, plus was working reduced hours when the business got slow in the early 80's. What did I do???? not sit on my ass at a park. I went out and got a late night parttime job to keep me going. Young people on a whole are lazy and getting even more so. Just because the unemployment is high does not mean there are no jobs. I'am retired from the grocery business, but still work parttime from may to aug

@vawt1953 lol how ignorant you are, ignore the unemployment rate and the fact that there are no jobs made here anymore because we don't make anything, and the fact that there aren't many jobs made here to satisfy the 16-17 million unemployed here. Just because you have a job doesn't mean you are secured, you can easily lose your job due to outsourcing.
