@diegodaudt um what planet have you been on again? Firefox's browser and its plug ins have PROVEN to be less secure than chrome and in some cases even ie8 let alone ie9. I MAY agree about the Opera statement. I haven't tried that one in over a year. as far as IE's slowness. download and install " google chrome frame" as Pirillo explained you can use chrome's frame " the web rendering engine in the background of running IE's browser. speed with IE9 is equal and often faster than chrome 12

In all, firefox is best if you buy lots of things online because it's most secure. Safari is best for HTML things and for news articles (because of the Reader thing) Opera is best if you want an all-in-one browser (it has mail built in, web servers, etc) Chrome is best if you want speed and stability, and simplicity. IE is best if you don't care about speed, security, plugins, etc.
