Newborns are touched all the time, sometimes because something's gone wrong, sometimes because they came out too fast and the people are going to help stimulate excretion. In fact, in many cases human intervention is NECESSARY to keep the puppies alive. You are wrong to think they are "too fragile" for 2 weeks.
