@spindalis79 It was tour single in 2001. As far as I know it was only available as a 7". The cover was also the design for a t-shirt.... Could really do with a Switched on volume 4!
-
What year is this from? I've never heard of this album.

@megaterius. I have Traffic Sound's "A Bailer GoGo" & "Virgin" albums, on a Background records CD, called "Traffic Sound". Background HBG 122/4, 1992.
If you can find it, get Stereolabs album ABC Music, SFRSCD111 on the BBC/Strange Fruit label.
It's all their BBC sessions from 1991 - 2001, cracking stuff.

I would almost agree, but if you listen to the first phrase, its a pretty standard stereolab progression. Then they start throwing in some delay to give it some movement, and then they just start chopping it up. But all music is a happy accident, in one way or another.

That begining HAS to be some happy accident... Nobody could write that? Could they??

This is historic.
@stratocuse It's actually a sample from a Sergio Mendes song called Primitivo.

@GarbagePolice Hey GP!, the 'indie scene' in Lima it's hard to find at an specific place, there have been pretty good bands in the 60's and 70's (Los Saicos, Los Belkings, Traffic Sound, Laghonia, to name a few) and now there's some nice live acts to see and have some fun...I don't live there anymore, but I recomend you to search for rock bars in Barranco and Miraflores... apart from that, you have to go to Cuzco! and if you can, go to see the Nazca lines and to the jungle, it's amazing!! :D
