  • The Passive Infrared Sensor has a different wave signal between right to left and left to right movement.

  • I guess the sensor has two parts: an emitter and a detector. When the beam to the detector is broken, it signals the arduino to do something and when it comes back on, to do something else. I am just currious, because I wanna do the same thing with my door, so that the light goes of when the beam is not broken, so I thought you could tell me more about the sensor, I will take care of the programming. Thank you !
