**THIS IS A FAN MADE VIDEO**

**WILL NOT BE MADE INTO A FULL FILM ANYMORE**

**First off, this trailer and the full project is in no way intended to offend or insult anyone who gave their lives, time, effort and sacrifices on the real 9/11 incident. A special thank you to everyone who acted that day and kept our country safe, for you are the reason I can sit here and make videos like these, thank you.**

Here is a project I had an idea for... Basically what if superheroes existed when the terrorists attacked the US on 9/11? I didn't want to over flood the cast with too many heroes. But this WILL be a DC marvel crossover. DC side I have Batman (Christan Bale) and Superman (Christopher Reeve). On the Marvel side I have Spiderman (Tobey Maguire) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr). I hope everyone enjoys the full length trailer. Due to confusion and the chances of people viewing only portions of the video via youtube when it's uploaded -- a link will be posted on my facebook @ facebook.com/youralist

Btw, I know someone will ask "Why didn't you pick Captain America for Marvel side" -- He was my original choice instead of Iron Man, but in the end there isn't enough footage available to work with on this and with Iron Man having two films he's the best choice.

For the record, I did this purely for fun, with NO intention of "fooling" anyone or covering the fact that I used clips from other movies.

Shots/Audio I adapted from the following movies:
World Trade Center
United 93
Superman Returns
Superman The Movie
Superman II
Superman III
Superman IV
Batman Begins
Iron Man
Iron Man 2
The Dark Knight
Spiderman
Spiderman 2
Spiderman 3
George Bush address to Nation.
Hancock

I used Sony Vegas Pro to edit this all together.

This is an independent, non-profit, artistic expression created purely for fun and is in no way connected to, or endorsed by DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Universal Studios or Warner Brothers. I take NO credit for anything I didn't exclusively create.

  • this was absolutely AMAZING... until bush

  • @hbkdabaybeast If you're going to base your like or dislike of something based solely on a person's voice you hear, that's pretty bad. Bush was president when this happened and he made a historic and emotional speech. I would have done the same thing if Obama was in office during this, Clinton, etc.

  • Nothing describes the word inspirational better than this video.

Astounding. A concept that I've never been able to put together, or even fathom about, was made by you and such a wonderful job was done on it. You deserve praise for that, and that alone, despite the wondrous editing of yours about a rough concept, you managed to respect it and make it seem so real at the same time. If my cousin who died on 9/11 was still here, I'm sure he would have been in awe from your video alone.Amazing work

  • @boredsox78 First off sorry for taking so long to reply back, I wasn't ignoring you... I was just in the process of moving and only had mobile internet at the time! Thank you so much for watching and for leaving one of the most meaningful comments I've ever received on a video. I love hearing feedback, especially when it's as genuine and real as yours was. Thank you!!

  • @mailx197333 thanks for watching, I agree with you until you said "parody" I am not mocking the events of 9/11 or parodying it in any humorous way, so I take offence to that claim.

  • simply from an editing stand point great job, though you need to touch up the scene with Lex Luthor (the audio kinda disconnects it from the rest of the trailer), or removing it wouldn't take away anything from the piece I think. two thumbs up!

  • @Scribeholic Yeah, haha that's what I get for editing with head phones on! o_O

  • Only a fool would be offended by this. I take this as a tribute to the victims of 9/11 and the real heroes who saved as many lives as they could. I commend you for making this. We all wanted Superman on 9/11.

  • Takes balls to make a concept vid like this. Combining pure fiction with real world events. But you've done it with enough class and skill that a reasonable person should understand your intentions, particularly in its absolute 3.36 context.

Excellent editing. Nothing offensive or controversial; it is what it is - a 'What If?' video.

Fantastic work, A-List. One to be proud of.

  • @AListProductions naw man, i'm not saying i that don't like your vid. it was really cool i'm just saying i don't like bush. any was great job as usual

  • @AListProductions It's okay, I understand. You're very welcome, for I am an editor too and I know what it's like to need feedback as well. When will this be uploaded as full length film (if it hasn't already?) Can't wait for more edits =]

  • Been awhile since a "What If" scenario with superheroes vid has really caught my attention and made me think. This was obviously very well thought out and clearly no disrespect for the heroes who gave their lives on that day. I don't often comment on YouTube vids, it's just not my style. However, with this one, I felt like I had to.

  • ALSO - Why was Ghost Rider dressed up like a fire fighter! LOL His head is a fire hazard!

  • Superheroes and 9/11? Edgy. But I'm glad people aren't posting "this . . . is an outrage!" type comments.

  • Great job on the video. I especially appreciate how you made the original superman movie blend well with newer movies. I think combining fantasy with facts is very appropriate and has always been seen in heroic comics dating back to WW2. Forcing people to reconsider their situation.

But I'm not sure I follow your point. Were you just presenting super heros in the 9/11 crisis, while at the same time posing several what if questions?
