  • @wileyrummel Not everyone who drinks soda is unhealthy. A lot of fit people enjoy soda every once in a while, why should they have to pay more? Just because a few lazy, undisciplined fat fucks are eating themselves to death doesn't mean we should tax everyone!

If someone eats healthy and exercises all week, I think he has a right to have a bit of soda and junk food on a sunday for example. Let fat people die, they arent my problem.

  • @peruanode1985 Yes drink water. its good for you. You dont have to always be filling that fat face of yours with chemically engineered tastes that will kill you soon enough

  • @0Mike0Banks0 so if a whole generation got hooked on herion, its not an epidemic? (thats how its spelled btw) Soda should be taxed in order to encourage a healthier lifestyle.

  • so what are we suppose to drink now just water wait they might want to tax that too.

  • cancaa

  • @0Mike0Banks0 thank you people are being retarded with it saying its soda

  • this commercial is total bullshit. its not just the sodas and the drinks that are making people fat, its those 5 happy meals that they are eating for breakfast every day!!!! and in my opinion, it's not an epedemic if you are doing it to yourself. addiction, eating too much or too little, self-mutialtion, suicide, they are all the result of people who have no discipline or self-control. if parents didn't encourgage this behavior, then we wouldn't need another tax!!! i'm glad this didn't work out

  • @sntsbc I really don't think taxing the hell out of every food is the answer; it's a shame some people don't know when to stop binging on unhealthy crap. Soda is fine in moderation (that said pretty much goes w/ anything). If you consume a crapload of the sugary stuff daily, then sure, expect to see the pounds to start packing. I swear NY wants to pass this tax primarily for money, not the health benefits. That's what irks me to no end.

  • @Dustar007 i hope so, maybe this is a kinda green tax! everything healthy and non fat and chemical consumed

  • If This Passes, I Don't Think N.Y. Will Stop There. Next Will Be A Salt Tax. Than A Burger Tax & Everything Over A 5% Saturated Fat Tax. After That Maby They Will Tax Whole Milk & So On.
