Typical university kids, drunk off their asses, walking around in jogging pants and slippers. Wooo - college! WOOOOO. An experiment in squalor living. University living, odd hours, debt, starvation, would be illegal for people over 25.

@muziquelle Tuition at McGill is $2000 per year? Western Canadian universities are like 3000 per term...

Canadians all seemingly suffer from the typical "Canadian Inferiority Complex".
Guess what champ, I left America for Queen's. Bear in mind, I was offered admission to Emory (which you list), as well as several other 'prestigious' American schools. Why? ...Because American schools are expensive and highly overrated.
All of my classmates from high school went on to American colleges/universities; I know from experience that the undergraduate programs of Queen's, U of T, and McGill : Graduate-level work, research, etc. :: those of American schools : kindergarten.

Yea but how many American schools does it take to even begin to make the top 20? You guys have WAY more schools than Canada. The fact that we have so few and they still make the list says a lot.
Let's not forget as well, that most schools in Canada are in Ontario - Ontario has the lowest per capita funding and the highest fees.
In this sense we're actually doing crap. And by the way, McGill which is in the top 20 is like $2000/per year (domestic). So, better to pay that than 50k to US schools.
