  • @5ky5tr1d3r , no worrys. I love to talk about race cars and fabrication. :)

  • @Stormer94 it seemed that way... :) Sry for my English,it's not my primary language,so I use some dumb explanations :) Okay, that's it for this video...be prepared to be bothered on next one :)

  • @5ky5tr1d3r, you want to know if the car has an open differential or a "posi" locked style axle. It's locked so both wheels turn at the same time like a true race car should. :)

  • @Stormer94 Ty for support man ! But,you didn't answered me :) Back wheels are connected to engine, right? They're both powered at the same time,am I right? In ordinary cars, wheels have system that drives them one at time. Wheels never pass same distance when turning, one goes longer way,one shorter, you know what I mean?

  • @5ky5tr1d3r , I'd like to build another one with narrower tires so I could design more suspension travel into the front end and still keep it 32". ABSOLUTELY, you should build something. Even if you never get it done, there's nothing more rewarding than seeing your vision come to life. DO IT! :)

  • @Stormer94 I don't know...your car after all ! :) I cannot say anything else because I haven't seen that suspension live ;) Only more thing I will say is that you should in free time get back to drawing board and try designing completely new steering and suspension systems....Damn,you got me drawing wheels and shock absorbers all over the room now :D One question:back wheels, they turn together at same time,or they have some system to run them one at time?Like ordinary cars?

  • @5ky5tr1d3r, also, you worded that incorrectly, if I stiffen the back, It will move less, not more. ;) But I know what you're trying to say. :)

  • @5ky5tr1d3r, always room for improvements, no doubt about it. :) The compromise on this car that creates the problems is tire width and overall vehicle width. I made it 32" wide to fit through doorways. Because of the limited travel available on the front (and it's truly the maximum I can design until I find a better tie rod), it has to be stiff, or it would bottom out constantly. On the back, I have virtually unlimited travel but have settled on 10". fr and rr bottom out at the same time.
