Those horses are a bit more rare, and there are technical reasons for using a taller animal(more believable shots done of people 'on horseback' without horses, etc) and, well, swords are cooler.

It's alot more accurate than 300.

@TheGzeus well 300 is based on the graphic novel, it wasnt really supposed to be so accurate

@TheGzeus It would have been better to use an example of a movie that's actually trying to be accurate but failed. 300 can't really be compared since it was never trying to be true to history.
