  • what humidity do the duck eggs have to be during incubation? what about during hatching? please reply if you know

  • @URAbunnylover2 We don't measure humidity. We weigh the eggs. They should lose about 14% of their weight. We will post a video soon showing what we do.

  • @rwhtv my eggs are in the incubator now actually. i have 13 and candled them all today. (its day 4 today) I can see veins!!! all 13 are fertile!! i am actually very lucky. the place i bought my eggs from said that their fertility rate is about 80%. but all of mine are fertile!! and alive!! And i made the incubator myself

  • @URAbunnylover2 That is fantastic. Congratulations! I posted 2 videos about humidity tonight. I hope you find them helpful. They are titled "How to check humidity using egg weight #1 and #2".

    Good Luck!

  • @URAbunnylover2 anyone please help. it was a muscove? duck, that took up residence in my back yard. i use to feed her bread everyday. after eating she always went under my shed. about 4 days ago she died. and left 12 eggs. i know nothing about ducks but i am trying to do the right thing. i bought a reptile light (red) and have it about 3 feet away from them the thermometer says 100 degrees. what should i do? anybody please help

  • @rwhtv never mind!

  • @rwhtv lol srry in my other comment i meant the videos WILL help srry i havnt found them yet

  • @rwhtv thnks for the videos!! they really helped. im trying to make it very humid (about 65%) but i think the air cell is a little big for a 4 day old egg. they are incubating at 99.5 degrees. they are Khaki Campbell ducks.
