I would have made the same decision. That canopy was perfectly safe to land with a good PLF. Good job.

how'd you steer this bitch home?? rear risers? and to do the control check?

Hey! The Control check I did right away, first, of course, I saw that the canopy was in good shape and flying straight, since it's a 89, just by the weight of tmy body I realized it was "steerable". Yes, rear riser all the way! Maybe I could use the toggles and steer even easyer, but since the right riser was bad I didn't want it to take the chance of a complete malfunction and start spining...Crazy stuff hu? ;)
