Let's Start Playing Metroid: Other M Part 1 - Fanservice a la Mode

This game is too hard for me to play blind. Someone on Ninbuzz is LPing it. And so, I will only show the first area (before Sector 1) of this game with my commentary.

Anyways, the cutscenes here are insane: top-notch Wii graphics, prenatal Samus, Zero-Suit Samus, a cutscene retelling the mid-battle cutscene at the end of Super Metroid, and some of the backstory we'll learn later. Also, a tutorial.

It would be really nice if the video would actually fit the player instead of being letter-boxed. Also since this game is so story driven it would be good if you kept up the silence during the cutscenes like you have been. Although I'm already doubting that the story will be any good... It's really trying to drive in this drama between the baby metroid and Samus heavily in this intro... Hopefully they had realized the intro was enough and Samus won't stop to look at her palm after every fight.

@Lordsounga It's better than that, for sure. Also, my TV is 4*3 and Pinnacle Studio makes its captures smaller than the screen for some reason.

@MrXman49O Run Dazzle through Virtual Dub and pick your own resolution and codec, problem solved.

Cause really Pinnacle Studio is a pile of shit for many different reasons... and it's pretty sad that Virtual Dub a free program works better with it then the actual software built for the capture card.

wow.... just....wow. this game seems like it's going to be very cinematic and story based. the game play seems a little foriegn to a metroid game, but i think it's something that people will get used to. have you beaten this game already or are you doing it blind?
