"Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil."

1 Thessalonians 5:16-22

  • wow...it is an eye opener..thanks..

  • I wish the starving people who pray could also see some improvement, not only the privileged people in rich countries.

  • whoa judge angels that bad thats better than judge judy! lol

  • "After several thousand years of prayer, it's clearly not working."

Americans pray for trivial things, while other people are starving to death.

If there is a perfect plan, then what are you trying to do when you pray? Change it? Wouldn't be much of plan if you could, so why try change it? Why pray? God has his will already set, so it doesn't matter.

  • Humans are the most arrogant animal. To think the God of the universe only answers to us. Shows complete arrogance and self-indulgence

  • @InnerAtheist ra tard

  • Human studies of a supernatural occurance? Man cannot measure the spiritual, because man is physical, and if we could, the spiritual would merely be a sub-group of the physical. No evidence? What about the thousands of thousands of people over the eons that have been changed through prayer? Just the other day I called my friend after having read my Bible, saying that I felt greatly encouraged after having been very down, and she said she had just then prayed for me. Evidence.

  • God causes things, if He knows what your going to say before you ask, then He would know that I would never pray. Then how would I cause things or events if its God that ultimately causes things? Troubling question.
