Oh. My. Goodness. I love this! Thank you! 2 questions: How long did this one shoe take? Would you use the same tools to make a faux-leather shoe? Sorry if fake leather is like shoe blasphemy, haha :).

I make shoes only from leather, but the quoestion is yes: tools would be the same. (The method not)

That sewing of the welt to the upper parts of the sole looks really tough. Is that stitch that called a saddle-stitch?

@timofly It's cork, if you mean that piece covering the ball and toe end. The rest is leather.
